Teulada Moraira has closed the 2025 summer season with record tourism figures.

The town reached an average occupancy rate of more than 95% between July and September. The findings are based on data gathered by the Tourist Info Teulada Moraira office and confirm a positive, sustained trend across the local tourism sector.

The report highlights steady growth in both hotel establishments and holiday rentals. This shows that the destination continues to attract visitors even amid the usual market fluctuations.

Hotels in the municipality recorded an average occupancy rate of 92% in July, peaking at 95% in the second half of the month, helped by the Moraira patron saint festivities, which drew many couples and families. In August, visitor numbers reached their highest levels of the year. The town enjoyed an average occupancy rate of 98.17% and peaks of 99% in the first fortnight. September remained strong, with occupancy close to 95% and an average stay of one week.

Teulada Moraira’s record summer season: Domestic and International visitors

Most domestic visitors came from the Valencian Community, Madrid, Castilla y León, and Andalusia. International travellers arrived from the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The town also welcomed visitors from further afield, including Italy, Vietnam, New Zealand, Portugal, and Brazil, confirming its growing global reach.

Tourist rental management companies also recorded significant growth. Average occupancy rates rose from 73.63% in July to nearly 88% in August and over 92% in September. Family and couple tourism dominated, with stays ranging from weekend getaways to full-month holidays.

Teulada Moraira’s appeal extended beyond its beaches this summer, as cultural attractions saw a sharp increase in visitor numbers. The Centre d’Estudis Vicentins welcomed 627 people during the summer months, while the Riurau received 68 visitors from various nationalities. The Moraira Castle stood out as one of the municipality’s main heritage sites, attracting more than 5,300 visits.

With these results, Teulada Moraira continues to strengthen its position as one of the Costa Blanca’s most attractive destinations.
