About Bridging the Gap

Hey there,
While making the move to a new country is undoubtedly exciting, it is fair to say that it can also be quite daunting. This is especially true if your country of choice speaks a different language from yours. Then there are all the administrative processes that may be very different to what you are used to and something of a culture shock.
Bridging the Gap was created by two extranjeros who have embarked on that very challenge and survived to tell the tale! While we have different backgrounds and motivations for seeking a life in Spain, we are keen to help others bridge the gap between the life they have been used to and making the most of their new life on the Costa Blanca.
Whether that is discovering ‘hidden gems’ to visit, local events to enjoy, new Spanish recipes to try or learning about the many wonderful fiestas and traditions, we’ve got you covered.
With authenticity at its heart, our vision for Bridging the Gap is to support all our readers in realising their Costa Blanca dream, however it may unfold.
