Visitors looking to explore Alicante without worrying about driving or parking can once again make use of the city’s Turibus, a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing service linking many of the capital’s best-known attractions.
Operating daily from 19 March until 8 December, the open-top bus follows a circular route through the city centre, seafront and historic districts, making it easy to visit beaches, museums, shopping areas and Santa Bárbara Castle at your own pace.
How the Turibus works
The service operates on a hop-on, hop-off basis, allowing passengers to leave the bus at any stop and board a later service using the same ticket.
Buses run every 60 minutes, with the complete circuit taking around one hour.
The first departure each day leaves the Ocean Race Museum at 10:00.
During the summer season, the final departure is at 19:00, while in winter the last bus leaves at 18:00.
The service operates every day of the week.
