This Sunday, El Campello will host its Fiesta de la Primavera (Spring Festival) in Parque Central, with activities running from 11:00 through to midnight.
Winter is on its way out, and El Campello is marking the change with a full day of celebrations this weekend.
A full day of activities
The event features a packed programme to keep visitors engaged throughout the day.
The celebrations begin with a traditional traca (traditional run of fire crackers) along Calle Alcalde Oncina Giner.
Afterwards, a children’s parade will set off from the Ayuntamiento de El Campello and make its way through the town centre to the park.
Once the parade arrives, attention turns to younger visitors. There will be a tribute show to Luli Pampín, known for her popular children’s music. In addition, the performance Las Guerreras will combine pop music, dance and themed storytelling.
Music, tardeo and evening entertainment
After a short pause around midday, the event resumes at 16:30. From then on, the atmosphere shifts into a lively afternoon tardeo (an afternoon socialising) that continues into the evening.
Visitors can enjoy a disco, followed by a live performance from Orquesta Montecarlo.
After several weeks of unsettled weather, the forecast for Sunday looks stable. As a result, organisers expect the full programme to go ahead as planned.
