Gifts will be handed out during the event, along with prizes for the best Carnival costumes.
Sunday: Villena’s Grand Carnival Parade
The main parade takes place at 11.30, setting off from Avenida Constitución at the junction with Calle San Isidro and finishing at the crossroads of Calle Nueva and Calle El Hilo.
Monday: Burial of the Sardine
Carnival celebrations will come to a close at 20.00 with the traditional Burial of the Sardine procession, running from Paseo Chapí to Plaza Maestro Moltó.
