The historic centre in Jávea will once again come alive this Easter as the 41st Artisan Fair (Fira d’Artesania) returns from 3 to 6 April 2026.
One of the most anticipated events in the Marina Alta, the fair will transform Jávea Historic Centre into a showcase of traditional crafts, local produce and cultural activities.
This year the fair will feature 75 artisan stalls, offering everything from ceramics and leatherwork to textiles, jewellery, woodwork and handmade goods.
Jávea Artisan Fair: Tradition and entertainment
The event begins on Friday 3 April with the traditional hot chocolate and “mona” breakfast for participants in the Via Crucis, followed by the official opening at midday, accompanied by live music and a multidisciplinary performance in Church Square (Plaza de la Iglesia).
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy:
- Street entertainment and roaming performances
- Children’s workshops
- Craft workshops for adults
- Traditional music and dance
Local flavours
The popular local produce market (Fireta) will also return, featuring producers from across the region offering fruit, vegetables, honey, olive oil, wine, sausages and jams.
Four decades of history
Organisers say the fair continues to evolve after more than 40 years, while maintaining its traditional character and strengthening its role as a cultural and tourist attraction.
Visitors can also take advantage of the Soler Blasco Museum, which will remain open throughout the weekend.
