If you are looking for a way to escape the summer heat in Torrevieja, head to the city’s outdoor municipal swimming pools.
The pools will reopen on Monday 8 June, giving residents and visitors another option for cooling off during the hottest months of the year.
Located at Torrevieja’s Ciudad Deportiva (Sports City), the facilities offer both recreational swimming and dedicated lanes for training and exercise.
Two pools to enjoy this summer
Visitors will have access to two outdoor pools.
The 25-metre swimming pool is designed for both training and leisure swimming.
Meanwhile, the recreational pool is aimed at families and those simply looking to cool down and relax.
As temperatures continue to rise across the Costa Blanca, the pools provide a welcome alternative to the beach.

The 25-metre pool will operate on the following schedule:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- 09:30 to 14:30
- 16:00 to 21:00
Tuesday and Thursday
- 09:30 to 14:30
- 16:00 to 18:00

Affordable prices
The Department of Sport has kept prices low to encourage residents to stay active during the summer.
Individual entry costs €3.
Reduced tickets are available for €2 for eligible groups.
Visitors can also purchase a combined 20-visit pool and gym pass for €40.
The discounted price is €20 for qualifying users.

- Carné Joven holders
- People aged over 60
- People with a disability of 33% or more
- Victims of gender violence
- Victims of terrorism
