Villena is set to take centre stage this February as the town hosts a new edition of Enotur Villena. Entour is a wine tourism event packed with more than 30 activities linked to vineyards and wine production.
The programme gets underway on Friday, 6 February, with the traditional open-air music event in Plaza de Santa MarĂa featuring a performance by Suite Rumba.
The town’s tourism councillor, Paula GarcĂa, said the opening events mark the start of a programme designed to position Villena as a key destination for wine lovers.
She also highlighted the importance of promoting wine tourism across the province, particularly wines protected under the DenominaciĂłn de Origen Alicante.
Wine at the heart of the programme
Over the coming days, visitors will be able to take part in a wide range of tastings and wine experiences, including:
- the DO Alicante Wine Tunnel at the Municipal Market (6 and 13 February)
- the interactive tasting Villena Vinoli + Kahoot (7 February)

These guided routes will take place on 7, 8, 14 and 15 February at various times.
