September is about to get a whole lot sweeter in Pilar de la Horadada.
The town is celebrating “Chocolate Month” in honour of International Chocolate Day on 13 September, and it promises to tempt even those who “don’t really like desserts”.
Throughout the month, local restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops, and ice cream parlours will be showing off their homemade chocolate creations. Expect both classics and clever twists.
One highlight is the colourful “peppers”, red, green, and yellow, that look like vegetables but are actually pure, milk, or white chocolate.
