Calling all artists and art lovers on the Costa Blanca. Enjoy art, sustainability and gastronomy as they come together in Altea la Vella this 18 and 19 April for a special international exhibition supporting marine conservation.

The event takes place at Melitón Finca Restaurante from 12:00 to 20:00 across both days.

Art with a purpose in Altea la Vella

Now in its 5th edition, the exhibition brings together artists from the Costa Blanca and several countries, all supporting the initiative Doing More for the Sea.

Visitors can expect:

  • Around 20 international artists
  • More than 100 artworks
  • Painting, sculpture, music and experimental art

All artworks will be available to purchase, with 50% of proceeds going towards La Escuela del Mar, a new educational project in Altea la Vella for children aged 6 to 14.

Supporting the next generation

Children will also take part during the event, creating their own projects focused on the sea and sustainability. Their artworks will also be displayed during the exhibition.

The message behind the event is simple: “If the sea is well, we are all well.”

Sustainable gastronomy experience

Alongside the exhibition, visitors can also enjoy a sustainable dining experience.

Host Helena Stepin and the Melitón team will serve a special menu, including a Sea Menu created for the exhibition.

Every post helps

There is also an easy way to support the project. For every social media post about the event, Melitón will donate €1 to La Escuela del Mar.
