Elda’s Fiestas Mayores kick off on Saturday 6 September with fireworks and a lively parade to set the mood.
The music starts straight after. In the early hours of Sunday (01:30), Los 40 Principales DJs: Dani Moreno, San Bernardino, and Aitor Belda will take over the Nuevo Almafrá esplanade for a late-night party session.
So, bring your dancing shoes and maybe a strong coffee.
From there, it is a packed programme in Elda.
Sunday 7 September
- 00:30 – Bombai hit the Nuevo Almafrá stage with their “10 años contigo” tour.
- Warm-up: DJ Fredy Vidal. Closing the night: DJ Toledo at 02:00.
Meanwhile, at Plaza Castelar, 23:30, Efecto Mariposa celebrate 25 years on the road.
Monday 8 September
Daytime tradition takes centre stage: the famous Firecracker Launch (13:15, Plaza de la Constitución) and the Balloon Release (13:45, Plaza Mayor). Earplugs optional.
- 00:00 – Singer Dasoul brings the beats to the Nuevo Almafrá esplanade.
- 01:00 – Tallarina On Tour keeps the party going.
Over at Plaza Castelar, tribute band Coldday roll out the Coldplay hits at 23:30.
Tuesday 9 September
Another round of firecrackers and balloons at the same time, this time in honour of Christ of Good Success.
Beyond the fireworks and concerts, the festival spreads across Elda with food, games, and street parties: sardines, giant paellas, tastings, and music galore.
