Burger lovers are in for a treat as the travelling Burger Manía festival arrives in Torrevieja. The event brings award-winning food trucks, live entertainment and more than 20 gourmet burgers to Playa de los Náufragos.
The festival runs from 3 to 12 July. Every evening, visitors can enjoy food and entertainment from 20:00 until midnight.
Gourmet burgers from across Spain
Food trucks from across the country will serve a wide range of gourmet
burgers. Vendors are travelling from Madrid, Asturias, Galicia, Valencia, Castilla y León, the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community.
Meanwhile, Costa Blanca favourite Octopus Burgers from Santa Pola will also be taking part.
Rather than simply enjoying the food, visitors can vote for their favourite burgers. The highest-rated creations will then qualify for a national grand final later this year.
Prices start at €12. In addition, organisers will offer gluten-free options and children’s menus.
Sweet treats and live entertainment
Those with a sweet tooth will also find plenty to enjoy. Dessert trucks will serve homemade waffles, cheesecake and chocolate-covered strawberries with fresh fruit and a choice of sauces.
Meanwhile, live music and entertainment will take place every evening. As a result, the festival promises a lively atmosphere for families, groups of friends and holidaymakers looking for a different night out.
A festival with a growing following
Burger Manía has already visited dozens of towns and cities across Spain. Previous stops include Palma de Mallorca, Tarragona, Tortosa, Vinaròs, Mahón and Manacor.
