The Vega Baja region is getting ready to roar back to life this Christmas with the return of the Charity Santa Claus Motorcycle Parade.

This charitable tradition brings together dozens of motorcycle clubs who ride through local towns collecting toys for the No Child Without a Toy campaign. The event is organised by the Alicante Motorcycle Union League, known as LUMA, together with many clubs from across the province. The festive ride will take place on 14, 20, 21 and 22 December, as well as 6 January.

Charity Santa Claus Motorcycle Parade: Costa Blanca tour

The Vega Baja’s main event will take place on 21 December. The parade will travel through towns such as Rafal, Algorfa, Almoradí, Jacarilla, Bigastro, and Benejúzar. A motorcycling Santa Claus will lead the parade. The eye-catching Castillo Trans Magic truck will join him. The parade will start in Benejúzar at 18:00.

On 14 December the parade will take place in Torrevieja. The event will then visit Los Montesinos and San Miguel de Salinas on 22 December. Finally, on 6 January, it will be Orihuela’s turn.

There are many official toy collection points across the region, including town halls, local businesses and partner organisations. All donated toys will be given to families in need so that every child can enjoy a Christmas gift.

The organisers invite everyone to take part by donating new or gently used toys and by joining in the festive fun. Motorcycles decorated with tinsel and riders in Christmas outfits are very much encouraged. Over the years the Santa Claus Motorcycle Parade has become one of the most loved and most attended charity events in the province.
