If you are planning to enjoy Alicante’s Semana Santa, getting home late at night is about to become much easier. For the first time Alicante is extending night bus services during the Easter celebrations.
The move comes as many streets close for processions, making it difficult to use private vehicles.
Extended night buses from Holy Monday
Extra night services will begin on Holy Monday and continue on Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday, with buses running until 02:00.
Departures will leave from Puerta del Mar, with four services each night between 23:00 and 02:00.
