Torrevieja is set to launch its latest shopping voucher campaign, the Bono Consumo 2025.

This edition introduces a few changes. Now, only adults over eighteen will be able to buy the vouchers, and each person may purchase up to €50. These €50 will have a value of €100 in participating establishments which is great news for anyone planning a bit of festive shopping.

Vouchers will be available online or in person, and an appointment system will help to avoid long queues.

Online sales will open on Monday 17 November at 15:00 on the website torrevieja.bonoconsumo.es. Buyers will need a digital certificate, an electronic ID or another recognised form of online identification.

How to grab your shopping vouchers in person

For those who prefer to buy in person, 3400 appointments will be offered on 14 and 15 November at the Apymeco headquarters at Calle Ramon Gallud 145. Appointments begin at 09:00. The physical sale of vouchers will run from 18 to 26 November from 09:00 to 21:00.

People with disabilities or physical limitations may ask a parent or legal guardian to purchase the vouchers on their behalf. In these cases the representative must bring proper identification and the relevant documentation.

Torrevieja’s mayor, Eduardo Dolón, presented the plan and confirmed “this is the eleventh edition of the scheme and will include a municipal investment of €500,000.

The campaign is expected to generate up to one million euros in direct spending in shops and businesses that take part. This is possible because the vouchers double the purchasing power of those who buy them.
