Sol Market has arrived in Arenales del Sol for the first time, bringing more than two weeks of free entertainment to the Costa Blanca this summer.
The event runs until 26 July and is open every evening from 19:00 to 00:00, offering a mix of street food, live music, children’s activities and shopping just a short walk from the beach.
Food, live music and family fun
Held on a municipal site next to the Arenales del Sol promenade, Sol Market
features more than 15 food trucks serving everything from burgers and pizzas to Mexican food, seafood and vegetarian options.
There are also craft and design stalls, live DJs, entertainment and a children’s area with games and workshops throughout the evening.
Live music takes place every night from 21:00 until 23:00, with tribute acts performing songs by well-known Spanish artists and bands.
How to get there
The venue has free parking nearby and can also be reached by public transport using the R9, R10, R12 and P1 bus routes.
Elche’s Councillor for Tourism, Irene Ruiz, said the event gives people another reason to stay in Arenales after a day at the beach.
She said Sol Market adds to the area’s summer entertainment while also supporting local businesses, restaurants and bars.
Organisers hope it will become a regular part of Elche’s summer programme, creating a family-friendly evening event for both local residents and holidaymakers.
