Some plans need very little explanation. A relaxed stroll, shops staying open beyond their usual hours, and the quiet certainty that, if you take your time, you are likely to come across something worth a look. On the Costa Blanca, one such plan unfolds over two days with the Cox Outlet Fair.
Rather than being a vast or overwhelming event, the fair is compact and easy to walk around. As a result, it is best enjoyed at an unhurried pace, with time to browse.
For one weekend, the centre of this Vega Baja town turns into an open-air shopping area. Local businesses bring part of their stock out into the square, offering special prices and short-term promotions that are available only during the fair.
Cox Outlet Fair: dates and times
The event takes place in Plaza de la Glorieta, and will run over the weekend of 31 January and 1 February.
Opening hours:
- Saturday: 11:00–14:30 and 16:30–21:00
- Sunday: from 11:00 until closing time
What you can expect
Fashion, accessories and locally produced goods form the core of the fair. While not everything is discounted, there are genuine offers and one-off opportunities that disappear once the weekend is over.
