The Alcoy Fire Museum, known as MUBOMA, is the first of its kind in the Valencian Community.

It offers an up-close look at one of society’s most vital and demanding professions. Housed in a former industrial building, the museum invites visitors on a journey through the history and development of firefighting.

Alcoy Fire Museum includes a number of exhibits

Walking through the various rooms and exhibits, you’ll see the tools and equipment firefighters have used throughout history, from the earliest hand pumps and uniforms to the most modern equipment. The exhibits highlight not only the technology but also the human side of the job: the courage, training, and teamwork required in emergency situations.

The museum explains how firefighting methods have changed and improved, and why water, fire, and the right tools play such a crucial role. It is both educational and practical, with interactive elements that help visitors of all ages understand the implications of firefighting.
