Are you feeling festive? Benidorm will start its Christmas programme on Saturday, 29 November.
The festive lights will be switched on and there will also be a special performance by the singer Gisela.
The celebrations will continue until 6 January and will include children’s shows, magic, concerts and traditional games, both in the Plaza de Navidad and at the Cultural Centre.
The Mayor, Toni Perez, presented the ‘Beninadal 2025’. He highlighted that Benidorm once again offers “a full Christmas programme especially designed to make the youngest members of the family happy. It will run for one month and ten days so that residents and visitors can enjoy every moment.”
Benidorm’s bright start to the Christmas season
Events will begin at 18.00 with the opening of the Christmas House at Casa Museu de lHort de Colon. A representative of Father Christmas will spend a few hours there to collect children’s letters.
At 19.00 the city’s festive lights will be switched on in the Plaza SS MM Reyes de España, followed by a special performance by Gisela.
After this, a full programme of activities will get underway. Visitors can enjoy children’s performances, dance, theatre, live music, fairground rides, exhibitions, a Christmas market and even an ice rink.
Two nativity scenes will also be on display:
- a large one in the Plaza SS MM Reyes de Espana
- another created by ACR La Barqueta in its premises on Calle Tomas Ortuno
Both displays will be open from 6 December to 6 January with free entry.
