If you are in or around Torrevieja, it might be worth clearing a bit of space in your diary and your waistband. The A TodoTren Gastro Route 2026 is back on 24 and 25 April, and it is shaping up to be another good one.
Good food, simple idea
The concept is pretty straightforward. Over two days, bars and restaurants across town will offer a traditional dish and a drink. All for €5!
That drink can be a beer, a glass of wine or a soft drink.
Expect the usual Spanish favourites. Enjoy rice dishes, seafood, meats, tortilla and the classic ensaladilla rusa.
Eat and scan
There is also a prize element.
Every time you take part, you can scan a QR code in the venue, register your details and go into a draw. Keep your receipt, as you will need it if you win.
Enjoy prizes such as ham, a mobile phone or your weight in beer!
There are a couple of rules. You can enter up to twice per day, and you need to scan the code while you are actually in the bar or restaurant.
