Benejúzar Town Hall is encouraging residents to shop locally this summer by giving away free car sunshades to customers who spend at least €10 at participating shops, bars and restaurants.
The campaign runs from 22 July to 5 August, or until all the sunshades have been claimed.
How to claim your free sunshade
Anyone who spends €10 or more at a participating business can collect a free
car sunshade from Benejúzar Town Hall.
To claim it, shoppers must visit the town hall between 09:30 and 13:00, Monday to Friday.
They will need to present a purchase receipt signed or stamped by the participating business, along with valid ID.
The council is limiting the offer to one sunshade per person during the campaign. Applicants must also be 18 or over.
Backing Benejúzar’s local businesses
Mayor Vicente Cases said local businesses play an essential role in the town and the campaign encourages residents to keep their spending close to home.
He said the initiative not only supports local traders but also thanks residents who choose to shop in Benejúzar.
Businesses join the campaign
Councillor for Commerce Patricia Rodes said the council has already provided participating businesses with campaign information and promotional posters to display in their premises or share on social media.
The council hopes the initiative will boost trade during the summer while continuing to support Benejúzar’s shops, bars and restaurants.
