If you are looking to do a bit of festive shopping Orihuela’s Christmas Charity Market could be just the place for you.

The city has unveiled its 2025 Christmas Charity Market. The aim is simple. To give non-profit associations a space to share their work, promote their projects, and raise funds to keep their programmes running. Every euro collected goes directly to the organisations taking part.

Sixteen social groups will participate this year, including Cáritas Interparroquial, Libertea, AECC, Manos Unidas, Adis, +Vida, Fair Trade, Adiem, the Dominican Sisters and more.

The market will take place on 12, 13 and 14 December at the Gabriel Miró Roundabout. Enjoy more than 1,000 m² with Christmas stalls, decorations, workshops, children’s activities and live performances. It all begins on Friday the 12th at 17:30 with an opening parade and the official launch of the stands and workshops.

Opening hours:

  • Friday 12 December: 17:30 to 21:00
  • Saturday 13 December: 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 21:00
  • Sunday 14 December: 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00

Local schools will also visit on the morning of the 12th.

Throughout the weekend there will be magic shows, puppets, a children’s musical, sing-along sessions, and a violin performance by Piccolo Violin School. Enjoy the Agando Show Band, rock groups, and plenty of Christmas workshops.

The Councilor for Social Welfare thanked all participating organisations for their dedication, both during the event and throughout the year. She highlighted how their work helps reinforce the efforts of municipal social services.

She encouraged families to attend, describing it as a chance to enjoy time together, support charitable causes, and begin Orihuela’s Christmas celebrations on the right note.
