Alicante’s Mushroom Street festival, the very popular Botigues al Carrer (Shops on the Street) returns on Saturday, 11 October.
From 11:00 to 20:00, Calle San Francisco, affectionately known as Mushroom Street, will transform into a hub of shop stalls, live music, children’s entertainment, and street performances.
Tastings, discounts & prizes
More than 70 shops will take part, bringing their goods out into the street, while nearby restaurants will offer tastings, special discounts, and prize draws throughout the day.
Alicante councillor, Lidia López, described the event as “a celebration of our city’s energy and local talent. A chance for everyone to enjoy shopping, food, and entertainment on one of Alicante’s most iconic streets.”
The full-day programme promises fun for all ages. From the morning onwards, visitors can enjoy children’s workshops, live entertainment, and street parades.

At 13:00, the band Ransom will perform a live Pop-Rock concert featuring classics from the 1980s and 1990s. Later in the afternoon, at 18:00, Magician Edy will take to the stage with a family-friendly magic show.
A 360° photo booth and plenty of street performers will keep the atmosphere buzzing throughout the day.
