Calling all food lovers. If you are looking for the perfect excuse to eat your way around town, Los Montesinos has just the plan. On 18 and 19 April, the town will host the 15th Ruta de la Tapa (Tapas Route).
With 25 bars and restaurants taking part, over the weekend, visitors can explore a wide range of tasty flavours.
Los Montesinos: Ruta de la Tapa
Over the years, the Ruta de la Tapa has become one of the most anticipated
events in Los Montesinos.
According to Ana Belén Juárez, councillor for Fomento, Comercio y Turismo, the event continues to grow in popularity. She described it as a key date that supports local hospitality.
Competition time
During the event, visitors can enjoy a tapa and a drink at a set price.
Each tapa and drink will earn you a stamp! To take part in the competition, you simply need to:
- Visit at least six participating venues
- Collect six stamps
- Vote for your favourite tapa
Once you have six stamps, you can be entered into a prize draw. Two meals for two people are up for grabs, adding an extra incentive to take part.
At the end of the event, the tapa with the most votes will be crowned the winner of the 2026 Ruta de la Tapa.
