It is the Christmas countdown on the Costa Blanca, and Los Montesinos is getting ready to switch on the festive cheer.
The town will switch on its 2025 Christmas lights on Friday 28 November at 18:30 in Plaza Sagrado Corazon. This event marks the beginning of several weeks of activities, shows and events for all ages.
There will be performances by the Essence Dance and Crew dance school and the Parents Association from CEIP Virgen del Pilar. The square will be a meeting point for families, children and anyone who wants to enjoy the start of the Christmas season together.
The mayor, José Manuel Butron, said the lighting event is an important tradition for the town. He explained that it has become a moment the whole community looks forward to each year. The aim is to fill the streets with light, joy and Christmas spirit.
The full Christmas programme for 2025 will be announced soon. It will include a wide range of activities and events for all ages.
The Town Hall invites all residents to come along to the light switch on. It promises a simple but enjoyable event with music, lights and a good atmosphere to welcome Christmas in Los Montesinos.
