San Miguel has launched its “Espacios que Enamoran 2026” (Places that make you fall in love) Photo Competition, inviting participants to showcase the beauty of the municipality.
Capture the essence of San Miguel
Participants are encouraged to capture a wide range of scenes, including:
- The town centre
- Residential areas and urbanisations
- Natural surroundings
- The iconic Sierra Escalona
In particular, Sierra Escalona, one of the area’s most stunning natural spaces, is likely to feature prominently in many entries thanks to its landscapes and rich biodiversity.
Entry deadline and participation
With free entry, the competition remains open until 22 June 2026, giving photographers plenty of time to explore, experiment and capture the perfect shot.

- The competition is open to adults only
- Each participant can submit a maximum of four photos
- Entries can be submitted online, in person or through official council channels

Cash prizes up for grabs
The competition offers three cash prizes:
- First Prize – €300
- Second Prize – €200
- Third Prize – €100
The winners will be announced on 29 June 2026 following the jury’s evaluation.
