Cinema classics in Petrer Playmobil style
Many of the elements in the exhibition do not appear in the official Playmobil catalogue. Instead, they were custom designed and 3D-printed to achieve a level of detail that would impress even the most serious collector.
Playmobil, born in Germany in the 1970s, has become one of the most recognisable toys on the planet. It is loved for sparking creativity and imaginative play.
A special diorama just for Petrer
One of the standout attractions is a brand-new diorama inspired by “La Rendició,” a local festivity. The team carried out detailed research to make sure every element matched the real event.
The result is a 1 x 1 metre model that recreates the Castle of Petrer in Playmobil style. It is complete with historically accurate costumes, helmets, and props. Around 70 figures bring the scene to life.

A boost for culture and tourism
Irene Navarro, Mayor of Petrer, spoke about the importance of continuing to protect and celebrate Petrer Castle. She called it a symbol deeply rooted in local history and emotion.
Fernando Portillo, Councillor for Culture and Heritage, praised the dedication of the Department of Culture and the Dámaso Navarro Museum. He noted that exhibitions like this help visitors connect with heritage in a fun, accessible way.
Finally, David Morcillo, Councillor for Tourism, highlighted how the Castle has become a year-round attraction. “This is thanks to the Tourism Office team who work hard to offer memorable experiences to everyone who comes to explore Petrer.”
