  • The ice rink at the Port

  • The Christmas market at Séneca and the Casa de San Nicolás.

Alicante Christmas bus route

The bus follows a circular route through Alicante’s historic centre, stopping at key points such as:

  • La Rambla
  • Luceros
  • Estación-Óscar Esplá
  • Calle Portugal
  • Federico Sotao
  • El Teatro

All before returning to La Rambla.

The service runs every 10 minutes from 09:00 to 22:30, allowing passengers to hop on and off to enjoy the festive lights, activities, or some Christmas shopping.

Carlos de Juan, Councilor for Urban Mobility, highlighted: “Once again, residents of Alicante can comfortably and freely travel to all the key locations of the city’s Christmas festivities thanks to this special service, provided by the Council to facilitate mobility during the peak tourist season.”

Leave your car at home

He added, “It’s a great opportunity to leave your car at home or in a parking garage and use public transport to move around the city centre. Not only does it make visiting the Christmas displays easier, but it also encourages sustainable shopping by reducing the number of vehicles in the centre and minimising your carbon footprint.”

Juan Antonio Martí, director of the bus company Vectalia Mia, noted that the service has been “very well received, with an average of 5,000 users in recent years.”

When Rambla de Méndez Núñez is closed for Christmas events, the bus will divert via the upper part of the Rambla, entering from Calle Teatro and Calle Duque de Zaragoza, before resuming its normal route along Avenida Alfonso el Sabio towards Luceros.
