Elda Shopping Night returns as a chance for Costa Blanca shoppers to head inland and enjoy a bit of late-night shopping with a twist.

On Saturday, 18 October, the city will enjoy its second Elda Shopping Night, a great excuse to wander, browse, and soak up the atmosphere.

It is shaping up to be a great evening out for anyone who loves discovering local shops, grabbing a bargain or two, and winning a few prizes.

From 18:00 to 22:30, Elda’s streets will throw open their doors to over 70 local businesses. Expect exclusive offers, giveaways, live music, and plenty of surprises along the way.

The first Elda Shopping Night enjoyed 50 shops, but this year nearly 75 have signed up.

According to Rocío Vera, president of AEDE (the Association of Elda’s Business Owners and Retailers), even shops located outside the main pedestrian area will have their chance to shine. “We have created a special multi-retail zone so everyone can take part,” she explained.

Elda Shopping Night: Shopping route

The event route stretches for over 1.5 kilometres, covering Calle Juan Carlos I (from Plaza Sagasta to María Guerrero), Calles Antonino Vera, Poeta Zorrilla, Ramón Gorgé, Pi y Margall, Reyes Católicos, Elia Barceló, and María Guerrero.

Comfy shoes are highly recommended!

Adding to the fun, two Neon Parades will light up the night (18:00–20:00 and again 20:00–22:30), along with children’s zones featuring face painting and balloon twisting. Shoppers can also spin the AEDE prize wheel for a chance to win instant treats just for supporting local businesses.

All participating shops will be running one-night-only deals, special discounts, raffles, and plenty of their own creative surprises.
