The Provincial Archaeological Museum of Alicante, known as MARQ, offers a fresh take on archaeology.
It aims to be the first archaeological museum designed for the 21st century by combining accurate history with modern, interactive displays.
MARQ’s permanent exhibitions cover a wide range of periods, including Prehistory, Iberian culture, Roman times, the Middle Ages, and the Modern and Contemporary Ages. It houses many important archaeological treasures. The themed rooms display exhibitions of international importance, allowing visitors to discover exciting finds and historical collections from across the globe.
