Housing developer Taylor Wimpey España has announced a €32M investment in real estate on the Costa Blanca as part of its 2026 plans.
The two developments, Sora and Nature, are strategically located in the sought-after Alicante coastal areas of Denia and Balcón de Finestrat.
Costa Blanca real estate: Location, location, location
Location will play an even bigger role for buyers in 2026. Marc Pritchard, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey España, explains:
“Buyers will focus on the overall coastal lifestyle, not just the property. They want an immersive experience, combining the sea, local culture, golf, gastronomy, community, and everyday amenities. A simple sea view is no longer enough. Buyers want to understand the neighbourhood and the unique features of the region.”
Sustainability and technology are also rising priorities. Homes with high energy ratings, solar panels, water-saving systems, and eco-friendly materials are now essential. Both Sora and Nature offer A-rated energy-efficient homes, reflecting this trend.
With remote work common, properties need flexible layouts and digital connectivity. Smart-home features and adaptable spaces are becoming standard to support a healthy work-life balance.
Sora, Denia
Located in La Pedrera area between the mountains and the sea, the €23M Sora project will offer 86 two and three bedroom apartments and duplexes from €315,000 plus VAT. Spread across six buildings, the development balances proximity to nature with easy access to Denia town centre.
Sora is designed for families and year-round living, featuring pools, landscaped gardens with native plants, a children’s play area and a multipurpose room. Ground floor homes have private gardens, mid-level apartments offer large terraces, and penthouses include solarium terraces. Open-plan kitchens flow into the living and dining areas, creating spacious, light-filled interiors.
Nature, Balcón de Finestrat
The Nature development includes 38 three-bedroom townhouses from €425,000 plus VAT, combining sea views with natural surroundings and convenient amenities. The homes are a short drive from Benidorm and Villajoyosa beaches, La Marina shopping centre, and the Puig Campana golf course.
The townhouses feature modern open-plan layouts, large terraces, and flexible spaces suitable for families. Communal facilities include a swimming pool, Mediterranean-style gardens and outdoor relaxation areas, encouraging both community life and privacy.
Lifestyle & community
“In 2026, long-term lifestyle and community considerations will be key. Buying a home is not just a transaction, it’s the start of an immersive journey into the local area. Developments like Sora and Nature are designed with that lifestyle focus in mind,” concluded Pritchard.
