Torrevieja’s Street Food Market is shaping up to be much bigger than simply somewhere to grab a burger, with five days of live music, food trucks, shopping and children’s activities at Parque de las Naciones.
Running from Thursday 8 to Monday 12 October, the latest Alacant Street Market Tour stop includes a live performance by Spanish band Tam Tam Go, plus tribute acts celebrating Queen, U2 and The Rolling Stones.
And if the music does not tempt you, the menu might. Smash burgers, Thai food, Colombian arepas and Argentine empanadas are among the dishes heading to the park.
Tam Tam Go open the live music
The market opens at 19:00 on Thursday 8 October, followed by an opening
party at 19:30.
Tam Tam Go take to the stage at 21:30.
The Spanish band are the biggest name on the five-day programme, but there is live music throughout the long weekend.
Friday 9 October starts with a children’s activity at 12:00. Keeng perform their Queen tribute at 13:30, followed by Días de Radio at 21:30.
Saturday brings another children’s activity at 12:00, The Fly’s U2 tribute at 13:30 and an indie music performance at 21:30.
From 80s hits to a Cuban night
The programme continues on Sunday 11 October with children’s entertainment at 12:00.
A tribute to 1980s bands starts at 13:30, before the evening switches direction with a Cuban night from 21:30.
The final day, Monday 12 October, coincides with Spain’s National Day.
There is another children’s activity at 12:00, followed at 13:00 by Control Stone, a Rolling Stones tribute act.
What is on the menu?
There is plenty of variety planned among the food trucks.
The announced selection includes smash burgers, gourmet hot dogs, Thai cuisine, Colombian arepas, Mexican nachos, Argentine meat and empanadas and international-style brioches.
Those with a sweet tooth can look out for waffles and creative crepes too.
This year’s Torrevieja stop also includes a design market, giving visitors the chance to browse stalls between meals and performances.
After four previous editions in Torrevieja, organisers describe this as their most ambitious stop on the current tour.
Five days at Parque de las Naciones
Everything takes place at Parque de las Naciones from Thursday 8 to Monday 12 October.
The opening night begins at 19:00, while activities on the remaining days start from 12:00.
It is also the final Street Food Market of the organisers’ 2026 calendar, bringing their year to a close with five days in Torrevieja.
