Jávea golf: Swing through the pines

Jávea Golf Club is a 9-hole course located near Cape San Antonio, about 100 km from Alicante. Thanks to its sheltered spot, it enjoys a mild climate all year round. The course is set among pine forests.

Designed by Francisco Moreno and opened in 1981, the course features gentle slopes, well-kept fairways, and greens lined with palm, pine, and orange trees. Though it’s a 9-hole course, most holes have separate tees for the second round, giving players a full 18-hole experience.

The layout includes 34 bunkers and tricky greens with subtle breaks. Hole 9 (a dogleg par 4) needs precision, while hole 5 is the longest at 475 metres. Hole 16 is the shortest at just 120 metres.
