Enjoy a little magic in San Miguel de Salinas this Christmas.
The town has planned its traditional programme of festive activities all centred around the Municipal Nativity Scene.
The celebrations kick off on Sunday, 7 December. The inauguration and blessing of the Municipal Nativity Scene in Plaza de la Libertad will begin at 18:00. Alongside the blessing, you can enjoy a performance from the parish choir.
After the ceremony, visitors can enjoy hot chocolate and a live concert.
The Christmas market follows the next weekend, taking place in Plaza Jaime I on 13 and 14 December. Enjoy a wander around the festive stalls and grab some local crafts, and seasonal treats.
On Saturday, 20 December, the morning is dedicated to children’s activities. From 16:00, a “Wishing Workshop” will take place next to the Nativity marquee, where youngsters can get creative and share their Christmas wishes.

Festivities continue on Saturday, 27 December, at 17:00 with the awards ceremony for the third Popular Nativity Scene Competition. On Sunday, 28 December, at 13:00, families can join the “Spot the Oddities” event, testing their eagle eyes for fun prizes.
On Tuesday, 30 December, children can enjoy a Christmas biscuit-making workshop at 16:00. Then, on Friday, 2 January, and Saturday, 3 January, from 16:00 onwards, Their Majesties the Three Wise Men will meet children and collect their letters.
The celebrations reach their highlight on Monday, 5 January, with the traditional Three Kings Parade. After the parade, the Three Kings will visit the Nativity Scene to illuminate it, spreading a final touch of festive magic across the town.
