After knocking out the crowds in Alicante, Tarragona, Castellón, Toledo and Madrid, Pizza Combat is heading to Valencia.
The event is shaping up to be one of Spain’s biggest pizza showdowns.
So, Valencia, get your stretchy trousers ready.
From Friday 12 September to Sunday 28 September, the Port of Valencia will transform into a giant foodie ring where 18 pizzerias will battle it out, slice by slice, to be crowned the city’s best, and to rack up points towards the national title of Best Pizza in Spain.
Here is the fun part: you get to play judge. Once you have sampled a pizza, simply scan the QR code on your ticket and score it for flavour, texture, presentation and creativity.
Every city crowns its own pizza champ, but only one will walk away with the ultimate belt in the grand finale.
Don’t worry if you have dietary needs, there will be a gluten-free option, and a vegetarian choice.
The event is pet friendly but doggies must be kept on leads.
Pizza Combat will take place right by the old Las Ánimas Puerto nightclub (DOCKS building), at the junction of Eugenia Viñes and Dr Marcos Sopena. The same spot will also host the Paulaner Valencia 2025 Oktoberfest during those dates, though the two events are separate.
Entry is free until capacity’s reached. Pizza Combat Valencia 2025 will be open:
- Monday to Friday: 18:30 – 23:30
- Saturday and Sunday: 12:30 – 23:00
