The official programme for the Los Montesinos Patron Saint Festivities in honour of the Virgen del Pilar have just been confirmed.

If you are after a mix of culture, tradition, and good fun this autumn, look no further than Los Montesinos.

From Saturday, 27 September through to 26 October, there will be over thirty events for all ages.

Think live music, sports, children’s activities, religious ceremonies, and a good dose of local flair. Things kick off with the much-loved charangazo (Los Montesinos’ own take on the chupinazo firecracker display) and roll on for a full month of celebrations.

You’ll also spot a few fresh touches this year, like prizes for the float parade and a new Saturday slot for the charangazo, changes made after listening to local residents and community groups.

José Ángel Vallejos, the Councillor for Festivities, summed it up: “We want these to be joyful celebrations that bring generations together. Little by little, we are shaping these special days for our town.”

Mayor José Manuel Butrón added his own invite: “These festivities keep our traditions alive while adding new ideas so everyone feels included. I encourage residents and visitors to join in, enjoy the events, and fill Los Montesinos with joy, music, and community spirit once again.”

The full programme is available on the Los Montesinos Town Hall Facebook page.
