Leave the car at home and hop on the tram, it won’t cost you a penny! On 22 September, you can travel for free on the Costa Blanca on Metrovalencia, the Alicante TRAM, the Castelló TRAM, and Metrobús.
The move is part of European Mobility Week, under the campaign slogan “Transport that Unites.” The idea is to encourage people to use buses, trams, and trains more often, not just this week, but all year round, while also reminding us that public transport is key for sustainable, connected cities.

Travel for free across the Costa Blanca: Promoting greener habits
Regional Minister Vicente Martínez Mus explained that the aim is to promote greener, more accessible travel habits. He also pointed out that the severe floods on 29 October showed just how important it is to have a strong public transport system that can keep people connected, even in emergencies

The Generalitat also has other discounts in place to make travel easier:
- Kids under 14 travel free on all regional transport.
- Residents of flood-hit towns can travel free.
- 40% off season tickets and multi-trip passes.
- Up to 50% off for under-31s with the Móbilis 30 card.
