The Alcoy Art and Design Exhibition (MADA) is back in Plaza Ramón y Cajal this Saturday, 6 December.
The event will bring together a dozen local and regional artists for a day dedicated to creativity. Now well established as one of the town’s key cultural events, MADA will showcase painting, sculpture, graphic design and textiles.
Art in Alcoy
The exhibition will run from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 20:30, giving residents and visitors plenty of time to explore the stalls and discover unique pieces created close to home. At 13:00, singer-songwriter Seserino will perform live.
MADA has become an important meeting point for artistic talent in the Alcoy area, offering creators the space to share their work. The range of disciplines represented reinforces the event’s multidisciplinary spirit.
Alcoy Christmas Market
This year’s event also coincides with the Christmas Market in La Glorieta, giving visitors two festive attractions to enjoy in one outing. Between MADA’s art, crafts and design, and the market’s traditional products and decorations, the town centre will be filled with activity throughout the day.
