If you are wandering through Elda in search of a little festive spirit, make your way to the Central Market.

From now until 5 January, the entrance on Plaza Castelar has been transformed into a Christmas photocall. Pause for a moment, gather the family, and capture a memory before the shopping begins.

Children (and adults too) can enjoy the decorated set during the market’s regular hours: mornings from 8:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday, an extra late opening on Friday afternoons from 17:00 to 20:00. 7:00 to 14:30 on Saturdays.

Councillor for Markets Silvia Ibáñez is encouraging everyone in Elda to make the most of the season. She has invited residents and visitors to pay a visit to both the Central Market and the San Francisco Market, as well as the city’s shops. Shop and enjoy what she describes as “the best commercial offer in the region”.
