If waiting a full year between fiestas feels a bit too sensible, Benejúzar has the solution. The town is getting ready to celebrate its Mid-Year Festival on Saturday, 17 January.
This is the perfect excuse to get into the party spirit six months early.
Now firmly established on the local calendar, the event will bring some after-Christmas fun to the streets on and off throughout the day. According to the mayor, Vicente Cases, the festival “combines activities for all ages and reflects the Town Hall’s commitment to local traditions”.
Mid-Year Fiestas in Benejúzar
At midday, things move up a gear with the Moors and Christians parade.
The celebrations continue into the afternoon from 17:00 at the Zona Octava dance hall, with live music from Situación Límite. This will be followed by a DJ set from DJ Piñero to round off the day.
