Benferri is getting ready for a full day of celebrations. The 4th Medio Año Festero 2026 takes place on Saturday, 25 April. The day will bring together music, tradition and family-friendly fun.
The festivities begin at 11:30am in Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Younger visitors can enjoy a gymkhana and children’s games.
Benferri tradition: Medio Año Festero
Later in the day, tradition takes centre stage at 7:30pm with the Recogida de Reinas, one of the most symbolic moments of the celebration.
The procession will be accompanied by the Unión Musical de Benferri.
Live music takes over
From 20:30, the Polideportivo Municipal will host a series of live performances, starting with Souls in Love, a band featuring well-known musicians including Sazed Ul Alam, Fito Galiana, and Santiago Campillo, founding member and former guitarist of M-Clan.
The group also includes Carmen María, winner of the Festival de Benidorm, star of musicals such as We Will Rock You and Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar, and a former contestant on La Voz. The line-up is completed by Suleya, Paco Caravaca and Ray Jr.
The Benferri Medio Año Festero ends with a variety of DJs so night owls can party into the early hours.
