If you are planning to do some shopping in Calpe, now is the time! The town has launched a new round of its Shopping Voucher campaign to encourage people to support local businesses.

Anyone living in Calpe who is aged eighteen or over can take part. Residents can buy shopping vouchers from 26 November to 14 December on the website bonocomercialcalp.es.

Calpe Shopping Vouchers: Small print

Vouchers are available for €20, €50 or €100 They can then be used in participating shops as a discount on purchases that are at least the same amount as the voucher. The rules are simple: one voucher per purchase.

The vouchers are subsidised by 50%t for Calpe residents, which means you pay half the price and the council covers the rest. It is rather satisfying to walk into a shop knowing your money has already doubled itself. Each resident can request up to €100 in vouchers, and each voucher must be used in one single purchase that is equal to or higher than the voucher amount.

How businesses take part

From 26 November to 14 December, both the purchase and redemption of vouchers will be open. Residents can buy their vouchers on the website bonoconsumocalp.es. Businesses that want to take part simply need to register through the same platform. A small improvement has been added this year: shops can sign up at any time during the campaign, which should make life easier for everyone.
