Pilar de la Horadada is set to open its 2025 Shopping Voucher Campaign on Thursday 20 November.
If you needed a sign to begin your Christmas shopping, consider this your gentle nudge. There will be 13,332 vouchers in total, ready and waiting for the first 6,666 eligible households.
The system is simple. The first registered resident from each household who comes to collect the vouchers will receive two vouchers worth €15 each, which doubles to €30 to spend in local shops. These vouchers can be used until 8 December 2025.
They can also be collected in person from the designated municipal offices until the supply runs out. To collect the vouchers, bring your identification and sign the Declaration of Responsibility. You can do this at the Town Hall building, CAMME, the Tourist Office or the Campoverde Office.

The programme, known as the Bonos Vivienda 2025, is open to residents who meet several requirements. You must have been registered as a resident before 1 January 2025 and still registered on 1 June 2025. You must be at least 18 years of age before 1 January 2025 and you must hold a valid form of identification. Before receiving the vouchers, each person must confirm in writing, using the official form, that they meet all conditions.
The Councillor for Commerce, Kini Rojano, has highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses during the festive season. “Shopping locally keeps money circulating within the town, supports the families who keep these shops running,” the councillor said. “It also helps maintain the warm character of the local streets and spread some festive cheer.”
One final note for the organised among us. This subsidy counts as a capital gain and must be included in your 2025 income tax return.
