Calling Costa Blanca New Year’s revellers. The TRAM is running late, so you can enjoy the party and still get home.

Public transport across the region will boost services over the Christmas period. A special plan is in place for New Year’s Eve to help people travel safely during one of the busiest nights of the year.

For TRAM d’Alacant, the extended night service will operate on the night of 31 December. Extra trains will run on Lines 1, 2, 3 and 4, both before and after midnight.

Costa Blanca TRAM: Main hub

This service is added to the normal timetable. Luceros station will act as the main connection point for all operating lines. Thanks to this plan, late night travel will be available to and from Alicante, Sant Vicent del Raspeig, El Campello, La Vila Joiosa, Finestrat and Benidorm.

With the extension, trains will continue running after 02:00, once the regular service has finished. Normal services on these lines will restart at 06:00 on 1 January.

Line 9, which runs between Benidorm and Dénia, will keep its usual timetable. Services will finish before midnight and this line is not included in the New Year’s Eve night extension.
