Introducing the HELP Ultimate Christmas Fair from HELP of Marina Alta, which is in aid of their new project, The Memory Café.
With Christmas fast approaching, it is that time of year when our thoughts turn to being extra charitable and supporting those who are less fortunate than ourselves for whatever reason.
Naturally, there are plenty of wonderful charity events taking place that not only raise valuable funds but also bring the Costa Blanca community together in a very special way.
Supporting the Memory Café
Funding raised at the HELP Ultimate Christmas Fair will be put toward their brand new initiative, the Memory Café. Also known as a Dementia or Alzheimer’s Café, it offers an interactive, themed, joyful gathering for people living with dementia, and their loved ones or carers.
This unique café offers reminiscence games, activities, laughter, and music for anyone living with Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, or Frontotemporal Dementia.
The Café offers a safe and supportive environment where people can socialise, connect with others facing similar experiences, and engage in enjoyable activities without fear of judgement or misunderstanding. However, all significant initiatives require funding, and this is why HELP at Marina Alta is holding the Ultimate Christmas Fair.

The HELP Ultimate Christmas Fair will take place on 30 November, from 11am to 5pm, at the Salones Canor in Teulada. The day promises to be jam-packed with fun and frivolity, and includes Christmas cocktails, delicious Christmas-inspired food, and, of course, a visit from Father Christmas himself. Bringing the music and encouraging everyone to get up and dance will be none other than DJ Lord, Ian Bennett.
