Are you looking for fun in Elda? Do you want to get to know the city better? Then you are in luck. Elda is relaunching its tourism experiences with a whole line-up of free guided tours this autumn.

It all kicks off on Sunday 28 September, to celebrate World Tourism Day, with Elda at Your Feet: Fallas Special. This walking tour takes you through the history and traditions of Elda’s famous Fallas festival, visiting monuments and some of the city’s most iconic buildings. And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a lively Mascletà (firecracker display) to finish.

For history buffs, Las Voces de la República (The Voices of the Republic) is back. This dramatized tour tells the story of Elda during a fascinating chapter of Spanish history—from the days of Emilio Castelar in the 19th century to 1939, when Elda briefly became the capital of Spain. Dates are Sunday 5 October, 2 November, and 30 November at 11:00 and 11:30 a.m.

On Sunday 16 November at 11:00, the spotlight turns to the Castelar Theatre with Arriba el Telón (Up the Curtain), a tour that reveals secrets, curiosities, and stories from this cultural gem.

And if archaeology is more your style, the Monastil Site opens its doors with guided tours on the last Sunday of each month: 28 September at 10:00, plus 26 October and 30 November at 11:00.
