This Christmas, Aspe is pulling out all the stops with a wide range of activities for everyone. Whether you are a family looking for festive fun or an adult seeking a touch of holiday magic, there’s something for all ages.
The schedule includes everything from cultural performances at the Wagner Theatre to street workshops, inflatables for the kids, theatrical shows, and visits from Santa Claus and the Royal Postmen. The highlight will be the Three Kings Parade and the traditional New Year’s Concert.
Highlights and new features
This year brings a fresh twist: Santa Claus’s hut is moving from its usual home
at Plaza Mayor to the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium. From 22 to 24 December, kids will be able to visit the hut, meet the elves, and drop off their letters. Santa’s grand arrival will kick off on 24 December, with a route from Plaza Mayor to the Auditorium. Children will have the chance to meet the jolly man himself.
On 22 and 23 December, families can visit Santa’s hut between 16:00 and 18:00. The elves will be on hand with fun activities, including a magical phone where kids can leave messages for Santa.
The Three Kings Parade and more
As per tradition, the Three Kings Parade will light up Aspe on 5 January. The magic begins at 19:00, starting from the nursing home and making its way to Plaza Mayor.
Before the parade, on 4 January from 18:00, the Royal Postmen will be in town collecting the children’s Christmas letters.
For teens and adults, there’s plenty to enjoy too, with magic workshops, a film series, live concerts, and more. Councillor for Festivities, Rosa Ruiz, explained, “We aim to offer something for everyone, so there’s a bit of everything to enjoy.”
