Caravanning is back in the province of Alicante, once again confirming the area as a key meeting point for the sector in eastern Spain.
Now in its 33rd edition, the Caravanning show is not just about vehicles. It reflects a change in how people travel. What started as a holiday option has become a lifestyle choice for thousands of people.
Almost 400 vehicles to explore
This year’s fair will feature close to 400 vehicles, offering something for every taste and budget. Visitors will find compact motorhomes ideal for couples, and larger fully equipped models designed for families. Take a peek at classic caravans for traditional camping fans and modern camper conversions with clever layouts and fresh design ideas.
Well known brands such as Benimar, Hymer, Adria, Pilote, Challenger, Dreamer and Mc Louis will all be present.
Technology on wheels
The show is also a window into the future of caravanning. Personalisation continues to grow, with advances in solar panels, high capacity lithium batteries and smarter energy systems.
One of the big talking points for 2026 is the use of artificial intelligence. AI is used to help plan routes and manage energy use more efficiently. Less guesswork, fewer surprises and more time to enjoy the journey.
The fair will take place over two long weekends at Fira in Alicante, from 6 to 8 February and from 13 to 15 February.
Visitors will also find a wide range of outdoor furniture and practical gadgets designed to make life on the road more comfortable. Think less camping chair, more outdoor living room.
Much more than vehicles
Caravanning Alicante has put together a full programme that goes well beyond buying or browsing.
The Market Area will offer gourmet food products, crafts and items for the home, garden and kitchen.
The Destinations and Routes area will include camping federations and specialist companies offering organised trips across Spain and further afield, including destinations such as Morocco.
Entertainment is also part of the plan, with food trucks, prize draws, activities for children and talks by well known figures from the caravanning world, sharing practical advice and travel ideas.
