The Valencian Community Ministry of Emergencies and the Interior has rolled out a major update to the 112CV app.
The updates make the platform more user-friendly. They also add new digital tools. These tools aim to improve safety and prevention across the Valencian Community.
The app now allows users to follow active weather incidents in real time and access practical advice on how to respond to them. This makes it easier than ever to stay informed during storms, heat waves, or other unusual conditions.
Among the key improvements are basic action guidelines for schools, workplaces, and municipalities in the event of severe weather. The update also adds extra self-protection tips and links to external resources.
Developed by the Regional Ministry through the Valencian Agency for Security and Emergency Response (AVSRE), the 112CV app is available for both Android and iOS devices via the GVA 112 APP portal.
Smarter navigation and detailed guidance
The updated interface is organised into clear thematic sections. These include fires, pre-emergencies, emergencies, alerts, incidents, and public information. Users can find what they need quickly. It also provides detailed advice for specific events. These include floods, earthquakes, snowstorms, forest fires, windstorms, heat waves, cold snaps, and chemical or radioactive emergencies.
A new feature lets users check the history of alerts in the Valencian Community and see messages issued by Emergency Services through the X social network. These updates are displayed alongside an interactive map showing the location of each active alert and relevant details.
112CV app: Fire alerts to full emergency management
The 112CV app originally focused on PREVIFOC alerts for agricultural burning. Over time, it has grown into a comprehensive tool to manage a wide range of emergencies.
Whether you are at home, at work, or travelling around the Valencian Community, the app now makes it easier to stay informed.
