Animal lovers in Almoradí have something special to look forward to this weekend. The town will host its first Animal Adoption Pet Fair.
Therefore, on Saturday, 18 April, you will have the chance to meet dogs looking for loving homes while supporting local animal welfare groups.
Organised by Almoradí Town Hall through the Department of Animal Welfare, the event will take place from 10:00 in the Plaza de la Constitución.
Dedicated to animal welfare
The fair will open at 10:00, with adoption stands running throughout the morning.
Visitors will be able to meet dogs available for adoption and speak directly with the participating rescue organisations.
There will also be a donation point where attendees can contribute food and cleaning supplies to help support the charities involved.

One of the most emotional moments of the Almoradí Pet Fair will take place at midday, with a balloon release in memory of pets that have passed away, offering families a chance to pay tribute to their late animals.
Shortly afterwards, at 12:15, a pet adoption parade will allow visitors to see the animals up close and learn more about them.
